We will be having four open weekends next year so don't forget to put them in your diaries! It will be a fantastic opportunity to see and buy the plants at different stages in the year and meet other keen carnivorous plant growers at Stroudwood nursery the UK's largest carnivorous plant nursery.
Our first open weekend will be on the 20-21 April. This year we will be having potting demonstrations in the morning and afternoon as this is the perfect time of year to do this see many of the plants in full flower and stock up on compost! We will have a huge range of plants for sale and sundry items.
Our open weekend on the 11-12 May will be a fantastic chance to preview our Chelsea display plants which fingers crossed will be at their absolute best and are truly a sight to behold. This is the first time we have had a open weekend this time of year. Our Sarracenia will be a real focal point as we have some of the largest specimen sized plants in Europe which will be looking pristine and ready for the RHS Chelsea flower show. We will have a huge range of plants for sale and sundry items.
The 20-21 July open weekend will show the full colour of all the plants. The Sarracenia flavas and most of the hybrids will have coloured up nicely and the Nepenthes are looking great at this time of the year too. We will have a huge range of plants for sale and sundry items.
And finally at the 5-6 October open weekend you will be able to see the leucophllya and any of the hybrids with this species at their absolute best. This is also a great time of year to compare your plants with ours as winter dormancy approaches its reassuring to see our plants will be dying back as well.
We will be open from 10am till 4pm and there will be refreshment provided at all open weekends.
